About

Cali (He/They) grew up in Philadelphia and Collegeville, PA and North Wildwood, NJ surrounded by their large Italian-American family (including their twin). They were first introduced to music and dance as they grew up dancing in their grandmother’s kitchen to Motown, jazz, and the Rat Pack with their aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cali also grew up immersed in books at the school library, captivated by the stories and experiences of others.

This love of stories, music, and dance ignited a life-long passion for performance which Calista pursued through a Theatre and English BA at George Washington University and training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Cali is especially interested in the multiplicity and complexity of people and is constantly seeking to create and cultivate characters in order to explore individuals and all of their uniqueness.

Cali is a transmasc / nonbinary artist and is passionate about telling trans and queer stories.
